- Dura Chrome Bath
Catalysts provide
separate additives to tailor chrome bath chemistry and
improve bath performance with generic chromic acid. These are the lowest cost
and most efficient baths in use today. All are very
user friendly, easy to control and don’t break down to
add sulfate to the bath like others do. These baths
perform like HEEF®, but are much less expensively.
Dura-60 is a non-fluoride general purpose
workhorse type bath.
Dura-2000 is a special additive for improved
performance in hard chromium plating baths for
excellent throwing power, hardness, smoothness &
crack density.
Dura-3000 is a state-of-the-ar hard chrome
process additive for high-speed, high-efficiency
chrome plating. A direct replacement for the HEEF®
high efficiency plating process.
Dura-100 is a high speed bath, maximum
hardness and microcrack structure.
Dura-Pulse is a process for producing
“CRACKLESS” hard chrome to any thickness,
as well as Multi-Phase coating with the microcracked
phase on top.
- Dura 76
Contaminant Masking Additive
is a granular additive that is used to chelate iron,
copper and trivalent contamination. Older baths with
Dura-76 perform more like new solutions. Dura-76 also
works well with both porous pots and ion exchange
systems, in any type of chrome bath.
- Cancel
ST-45
Fume Suppressant
is a concentrated liquid that was developed
specifically for hard chrome. It meets the EPA - MACT
Standard. Cancel ST-45 does not cause pitting and is a
permanent type product that does not break down to cause
organic contamination. Cancel ST-45 is the lowest cost
permanent fume suppressant on the market.

Micro Tuff Polymer is a high-density polymer that is
applied after hard chrome plating. Micro Tuff
impregnates and seals the natural crack structure.
Corrosion resistance, lubricity and wear life of the
part are significantly increased. Micro Tuff is easy and
inexpensive to apply. Each bar of the Polymer covers up
to 100,000 sq. in. of surface area, with material costs
less than $0.01 per sq. inch.

Polystrip-26
Chrome Stripper
is a high speed alkaline electrostrip
for hard chrome. The bath is extremely long lasting and
doesn’t damage steel surfaces. The strip rate is
typically 0.003” per hour.

Kill-318
Chrome Neutralizer
is a powdered alkaline material that has
two purposes. It is used in final rinses to prevent
chrome stains and to aid in drying parts. It is also
used in the powdered form as a neutralizer for chrome
spills on the floor.

Ano Best 104 Anode Cleaner is an alkaline cleaner for removing stubborn
scale and oxides from lead alloy anodes. It’s use
provides for a more active anode surface and improved
deposit quality.

Zero Discharge Recovery (ZDR) is a method of recycling chrome rinses, ventilation
wash-down and containment spills. Liquid discharges are
avoided and waste treatment equipment is not needed.
With ZDR there are no drain connections, and chemical
costs are typically reduced by around 50%.
